Principal’s Message
Govt. Degree College, Margubpur (Haridwar) is one on the important projects of Uttarakhand Government in the field of higher education. The college is established with the objective to provide opportunities of Higher Education to socially-deprived communities and remove disparities by promoting the inclusion of women, minorities and economically weak persons. The building was constructed by Uttarakhand Govt. under the scheme MSDP with the cost of approx. 3.5 crore on the donated land by Husainiya Junior High School. Presently, Under Graduate Course in art stream (B.A.) has been running in Sociology, English, Economics, Political Science, History and Hindi for last 07 years. We are on our best efforts to add Geography and Education in the same stream.
Apart from academic excellence, the college is well known for Eco-Friendly campus, communal harmony and community awareness for literacy, de-addiction, environment protection, cleanliness as well as for its beautiful garden.
We focus not only on the primary objectives of education, but also on sport, co-curricular activities, moral education and responsibility towards society, environment and mother earth.
