Govt. Degree College, Margubpur, was started on September 10, 2014. It is situated 5.5 km away from national highway 58 in the assembly area Piran Kaliyar at the distance of 15.5 km from Roorkee Station and 26 Km from Haridwar Station. The campus is spread around 5000 sq. meter area. The building was constructed by Uttarakhand Govt. under the scheme MSDP with the cost of approx. 3.5 crore on the donated land by Husainiya Junior High School.

Govt. Degree College, Margubpur is an ideal example of Communal harmony and discipline. It respects all communal philosophies. This college is open to all students, therefore students of various caste, creeds, sections and religions are our main beneficiaries for last 07 years. We have respect for every religion in our routine practices as institutional philosophy.

It has a decent infrastructure covered under CCTV surveillance with fully-facilitated class room and seminar hall to provide a good platform for the proper grooming of the students and sharpen their communication skills
